So I decided to start a blog for my ancestry things. Whatever I find out about my family ties I will post here. My grandmother, Betty Helen Welker, wrote "200 Years In Clearfield County". It has given me a great starting point, if she was only alive to see what she could find out now a days. All she had then, 1983-1991, was paper, pen, typewriter, and a car to travel to review graves and visit friends and family who had information. My father had told me gram wanted to dig further in her research but sadly, she got really sick and passed away in 92. She has been a great inspiration to me. She was very crafty, and I believe that is where all my craftiness came from, we would always do arts and crafts and i loved it.
So anyways..this begins my journey..
